You Only Live Once, This Is How I'm Doing It!

As a flight attendant and traveler in general I have taken trips in groups, with one other person and completely alone. Being alone can be scary. It can also be wonderful. I’ve been in so many foreign cities by myself that it hardly phases me anymore. Most of the time I prefer to be with other people but sometimes the ability to make your own decisions and spend hours one place and five minutes somewhere else is so freeing.

So, this video speaks to me in a deep way. It’s beautiful and inspiring and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Thanks for this post. I need to remember that it's okay to be alone. This is becoming more and more the season where I need to embrace it, because I find myself more and more wanting not to be. …and I must remember while I may feel lonely, I'm never really alone: the One who spoke my soul into existence and gave me purpose is there beside me every step of the way. mmmm…. to enjoy being alone

  2. Yeah, the worst part is wondering if people are judging you for being alone. But even if they are, who cares, they're not your friend. Ha. (easier said than done, I know)

I've been working for a post about nervous flier tips for awhile but haven't finished it yet. If it helps, I feel safer on a plane than in any car. There have only be a handful of fatal plane crashes in the last 20+ years and most are on small private planes. Your odds of dying on a plane are basically none. Just keep your seat belt on when the sign is lit and you'll be fine 🙂
