You all probably know I’m a huge nerd and that’s probably a big part of the reason I think this is so neato. (Yes, I did just say neato. See? Nerd.) It’s a palindrome which is what is what’s so cool about this project. I also happen to agree with the message. Anyway, enjoy.

Sometimes blogging every day is tough.
Coming up with something interesting to say day, after day, after day.
Not that I think I’m interesting all the time.
Well, I’m interesting to me.
There are times however, that I get down to the last five minutes of the day with not a whole lot to say.
Like right now.
It was a good day but five minutes isn’t enough to give it justice.
So this will have to do.
I realize I’ve written several fragments here.
I don’t really care.
This is how my brain works.
Pretend it’s poetry.
I’m out in Wrigleyville tonight celebrating a friend’s birthday. I’m trying to post from my phone but it’s being a jerk so until I get to a real computer enjoy this parody of a British Airways commercial.
This isn’t exactly a new video and it doesn’t really apply to me because no matter how nicely you dress or what fancy restaurant you put on a business card I’m not going to go out with you. However, if I were single these things would definitely make you stand out from the usual skeezes who fly. Also, I like that they point out that being a flight attendant is the third sexiest profession. I mean, obviously. Enjoy.
These commercials crack me up. The Ameriquest ones anyway. The last two aren’t Ameriquest commercials and are kind of lame but this was the only video that I could find that had all 6 commercials in one. Hope you get a good chuckle.
This is one of my favorite songs. It’s so calming and it puts me in my happy. I could listen to it over and over. Enjoy.
This winter Chicago has had it’s share of snow. In fact, I think we’ve had snow on the ground almost constantly since November or December. Thankfully the town we live in is really good about plowing the roads around where we live. If the roads aren’t completely clear by morning it’s usually been because it’s still snowing. Yesterday Joel and I left the house to find an unexpected consequence of all the snow plowing.
Apparently the speed bump just couldn’t cut it.
This is a little bit of a better angle. You can clearly see where the speed bump used to be by the darker area of pavement and that there’s still a small part of it left on the road.
And just in case you think this was intentional road work…
There are big chunks of speed bump in the snow bank on the side of the road.
Maybe I’m just easily amused but for some reason this really cracks me up.
