You Only Live Once, This Is How I'm Doing It!

Maternity Photos (part 1)

Finally! Sorry it took so long but I hope you’ll agree it was totally worth the wait.

We found Rebecca Reichman through our doctor’s office actually. Her gorgeous work is hanging everywhere and I knew we had to check her out for her newborn photography. We then found out that by booking a newborn session we also got a maternity session. So, thanks to a generous birthday gift from my mom and a little bit of a technical error (explained at the end of this post), we found ourselves with dozens of gorgeous maternity photos.

Here are my favorites.

This last one is my very, very favorite. She captured the glow of our love for this baby perfectly. I can’t wait to see how the newborn photos come out.

Friday will be part 2 which is the shoot we did with my sister. They are equally amazing and worth the wait. Trust me.

  1. Oh these photos are lovely!! Very tasteful without being stuffy, really love that final photo.

Your photos are fabulous! And I love that striped dress. 🙂

  3. Wow! They’re all great but I agree with you on the last one: LOVE IT!

  4. The pictures are gorgeous, as are you and your pretty bump!

  5. These pictures are fabulous! You look gorgeous!

My kids are 11 & 9 and either this was before maternity photo shoots were common or I just live in place where they don’t happen. Either way: I’m jealous. Those photos are great and it’s such a fantastic way to mark this period.

Also I was pregnant before the advent of low rise maternity jeans. Now I am doubly jealous.

    • Yeah, we weren’t going to get them but they were included with the newborn shoot and now I’m SO glad we did.

And those jeans are actually not maternity jeans all my maternity jeans are the over the belly type. The photographer recommended that I bring my old jeans and just not button them. And trust me, there was no WAY they were buttoning. I was just happy I got them on at all, haha.

  7. You are so cute with your tiny perfect belly! If I can shake this flu I’m getting mine done on Monday…you know a week before the birth (I’m really on top of things!)
